Words can not describe how it felt to be amongst people of all races, religions, backgrounds, classes and preferences when CNN announced that Barack Obama will be our next president. We cried, we hugged and we all felt the spirit of America together! I have never felt so patriotic in all my life!
Sarah, While I did not vote for Obama (sorry) I can not help but feel your joy and the energy that went through Grant park. It brought tears to my eyes last night watching this on TV. And while watching CNN, one of the African American commentators trying to speak about how this felt for him and he could barely stop from breaking down - his and so many others emotions were running high. How can the world not be affected in a positive way by all of this? Grant park will truly go down in history and Obama & McCain are right - it's time now that we pull together as a nation and make the changes necessary. Congratulations and on a lighter note I am so envious of that great moment that you got to be a part of last night. Go USA!
totally brought tears to my eyes again! I am just at a loss for words about how awesome and powerful I feel to have been a part of this momentous occasion. I'm so glad you and traci got to be there in person! I wish I could have been there too... especially if there really was a hot guy! ;)
Hey this is Sam from the CTA. I was totally boneheaded in not writing down your website and had to find it by searching Google with "Stamp, stars, Obama, Sarah" then told Google to ignore" Palin.
I bawled like a baby and for the first time in MANY years, felt an overwhelming love for America. I will have no qualms about putting my hand over my heart and reciting the pledge of allegiance anymore...
