Doodle Frames...

Here are some fun justjohanna cards. These are from my "doodle frame" period. :)

I drew these frames with a black sakura glaze pen. The glaze pen gives a raised, almost embossed effect... which I think gives my doodles have an "I-meant-to-do-that" sort of look.

The inked images were tinted with Copic Markers.

Why do owls always look like they are about to start some trouble?

I love these doodle frames I totally thought, Oh cool, where can I buy that stamp! :) And your owl does look like he's up to no good.

These made me giggle. I love the hand drawn scalloped edges. Gives it such a personal look. Owls are trouble. I have owls in my stamp drawer and every time I open that drawer the stamps have all fallen over. Wonder who did THAT?!

I just watched Hitchcock's "The Birds" tonight. I think he saw the same thing you do. The birds are planning to take back whats theirs. ;-)
